Woodmont
Orchards, Inc., owned and operated by Bob and Steve Lievens, was
started in the 1920's by their grandfather, Edward Lievens in Hollis,
New Hampshire. Over the years, the family increased its land
holdings and added packing facilities. Woodmont now consists of
three orchards, each about two hundred acres: the present main facility
in Londonderry, the original farm in Hollis, and another in
Lyndeborough. The Lievenses grow mostly Macs, but also Cortland, red
and yellow Delicious, and a few other varieties. During peak season,
they can pack and ship up to five thousand bushels a week.
Look
for the Woodmont brand at DeMoulas/Market Basket. Woodmont also
has a small retail outlet at it's main location in Londonderry, NH, as
well as a seasonal retail located at the Hollis Orchard.
Woodmont
ships apples and can be contacted for mail ordering of non-waxed, hand
packed New Hampshire apples. We ship only the best fruit from
our well maintained apple orchards. Apples will be shipped on a
first ordered, first shipped basis
